Chittagong Chamber of Commerce & Industry (CCCI)
Founded in 1906 in the port city of Chattogram, the Chittagong Chamber of Commerce and Industry (CCCI) stands as one of the leading trade bodies in the country. Its primary objective is to contribute to the economic development of the nation by fostering and promoting trade, business, and investment. Functioning as a representative of the private sector, CCCI actively collaborates with the government in formulating national policies and relevant laws and regulations.
The chamber has been instrumental in significant initiatives, including the construction of the country’s first World Trade Centre, the inception of the initial custom automation project, and the consistent organization of the Chittagong International Trade Fair for the past twenty-seven years. In addition, CCCI hosts sector-specific small fairs. Currently, the chamber boasts a membership of seven thousand, comprising a diverse range of firms, companies, and corporate bodies.

Society of Chittagong IT Professionals (SCITP)
The Society of Chittagong IT Professionals (SCITP) is a non-profit and non-political platform created by over 650 IT professionals with the overarching vision of promoting “Chattogram – The NEXT TecHub.” Presently, SCITP includes approximately 30 Chief Information Officers (CIOs) and Chief Technology Officers (CTOs), along with 70 IT Managers representing 110 organizations. These include major corporate entities, multinational corporations (MNCs), ITES providers, Internet Service Providers (ISPs), as well as educational and financial institutions.
The society is dedicated to advancing careers, enhancing organizational success, and empowering changemakers by imparting new skills and innovative ways of working to maximize their impact on the IT landscape. Operating as a common platform, SCITP strives to foster collaboration and progress within the IT community in Chattogram.

Mission & Vision
SCITP serves as a shared platform for IT professionals in Chattogram, fostering the exchange of thoughts, knowledge, and experiences to facilitate mutual growth. The primary missions and visions of SCITP include:
- Promoting a sense of camaraderie among IT professionals in Chattogram, encouraging mutual support in updating and upgrading their technical and managerial expertise. Empowering members with continuously evolving skills is a key focus, contributing to success in their professional endeavors.
- Initiating relevant activities such as training sessions, seminars, and exhibitions to facilitate collaboration, networking, and ongoing learning within the IT community.
- Publishing journals, books, and papers to provide specific benefits to SCITP members and contribute to the broader knowledge base for the citizens of Bangladesh.
